I would like to receive them by June 5th. I understand this is not possible for everyone, and If I get a few at the last second, they will still be incorporated. I just want to know how many were coming in from CC members so I had enough time to make the rest. |

Omgosh I know I am so late. I was just planning to make one today, yet I don't have any of those dust and it would be too late to order. Do you think Jackie will accept something that uses brilliant silver Platinum dust? or the bright silver crystallized and fairy pink crystallized Crystal Colors? |

Hey Rylan,
I don't think so. They posted that if the exact dusts weren't used the piece wouldn't be used in the cake. |

Any white sparkly peices will be accepted!
It's the other colors, the purple, green and champagne, that are very specific. |

First I would like to offer proper congratulations! I also have a few questions. First: Is the idea to make shapes in the suggested colors in accordance with the shapes visable in the picture of the chandelier and send them to a central location to be assembled in your wedding cake? That's shch a cool concept! Making this community of cake makers more than E-pals on a web site! Second: It looks to be made of blown glass (the chandelier) so why arent we making the peices out of pulled and/or blown sugar? Please pardon my spelling and/or grammer. |

Well, the wedding is a week away! How are all the plans coming for the cake? Did you get enough pieces? Did you have a wedding shower? If so, where's a picture of the cake?
I hope you and Heath have a FABULOUS wedding and most of all that you ENJOY it!!
Congratulations!!

Yep you have the basic idea right. The original idea WAS to do blown sugar but there were concerns around shipping and lifespan of the items. |

we ended up receiving pieces from about 3 or 4 members. The pieces we received were fantastic! Unfortunately it was not possible to make enough additional pieces in bulk here in order to complete the original design.
The cake is still going to be impressive and HUGE, but a completely new design. All the pieces we received WILL BE incorporated in the cake.
Leanne Winslow (leannewinslow) of Virtu Cakes in West Seattle has been working very hard with Jackie on this cake for the last few weeks and it is going to be amazing
We want to thank everyone who has participated in this project and we cannot wait to post pictures of the cake after it is all assembled |
Wow! I am shocked! I know everyone has there own reasons for not participating but I can't believe how few of us did. Jackie and Heath have done so much for all of us by keeping this site going for free and I'm really disappointed, as I'm sure they are too. |

When do we get photos of the final cake? The wedding? Your dress? Photos, please. |

This was way out of my league, but I wish they received more pieces. There are so many super talented members here. I'm sure their cake will be super impressive and I can't wait to see pictures. |
