i quoted a lady £60 for a 3d elmo. i would have made it from 2x 8 inch cakes stacked and carved which would have given me a height of about 7 1/2 inches. she just emailed me askin if the quote was for a 45 cm (17 inches about)tall elmo. to get that height i would need to make 5 cakes and stack em. did she really think that a cake with that much detail and that big would only have cost £60 or am i the unreasonable one?

forgot to say this would be fondant covered lol

sorry about the not converting i was just flabbergasted

£60 = $91

this is a very reasonable price for a 3d carved cake in my area.
