I think it would be a good idea to have a thread specifically for
Vegan / Vegetarian cake decorators ~ to swap ideas, recipes, thoughts, etc... AND non-veggie bakers in need of veggie help would know exactly where to look / ask. 
I think it would be a great resource, for everyone.

I totally agree. I wonder if it is the kind of thing that could be made a sticky, like the buttercream thread etc.
I don't know how many threads we all see every week asking for eggless, milkless, vegan, veggie, etc. cakes and this would be a great place to put them all, and then direct askers to, rather than keep re-typing the info over and over.
Great idea!
I have some recipes I would love to share, and I always love getting more for my recipe collection.
Will keep an eye on this to see how it gets set up.

I'm so glad someone agrees with me...
I'm a vegan, but understand not everyone who requests a eggless, milk-less cake is a veggie...(it's often about allergies, etc). Milk, egg, and gluten allergies are VERY common. Veggies are a great resource for these sorts of things. |
