Hi there!
I'm getting ready to make a banana cake. Does anyone have any good icing recipes that will go with a banana cake?
Thank you so much for sharing! Happy Caking!! |

My favorite icing for bananna cake is fresh whip cream, especially if it's filled with it and cream. Yummmm! |

I would use a cream cheese icing. Do you have a recipe for that? |

I know cream cheese frosting goes really well with banana cake. I made a banana cake with carmalized bananas for the filling and frosted it with caramel buttercream, it was yummmmmmy! |

I don't think I do have a cream cheese frosting recipe. I can just go look one up in the recipe box though --- now that I know what to hunt for.
Nickshalfpint -- the carmelized bananas and carmel buttercream sound delicious.
Would you mind to share the carmel buttercream recipe?
Thanks again everyone! |

I would think Brown Sugar SMBC or a fudgey chocolate ganache. |

Goodness.. they all sound so good! Chocolate, cream cheese, carmel buttercream, brown sugar SMBC or a fudgey chocolate ganache. How am I going to choose between all of these wonderful delights? |
