Does any one know how much you would charge for fondant babies going on a cake. I made this cake last year but it was a gift from me to a family member and now someone is asking for a price. Thanks for any suggestions. |

To me they take the place of flowers....I would not charge extra. If anything maybe only $10. |

Oh, wow. I can't imagine only charging $10, unless you mean for one baby because these little babies are very hard to make and time consuming, I was thinking more like $5.00 a baby. |

I've made a similar cake. I charged $125.00 and I felt I was giving the person a bit of a break. Those babies are a bit time consuming, but fun to make! |

I would charge 5-10 dollars per baby, plus 15-20 dollars for your cake topper in addition to what you charge for the cake. |

I am so glad that you said that price, that was about what I was thinking. I feel like that is a reasonable price for a cake like that, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't too high. |

I totally agree $125.00 is reasonable, but I will charge at least $10.00 per baby not five, It takes a lot of time and remember prices have gone up and I think is fair you get paid for the hours you devoted on this cake, but $125.00 is reasonble. |
