I read the tutorial on the Edible Image Plaque. I don't recall it saying how thick to roll the gumpaste. Can anyone tell me about how thick?

Also, can they still eat it after it is made into the plaque? What is the purpose of making it an edible image if they can't eat it?

Just curious and need to make one for Saturday.

I actually roll mine pretty thin--I use the pasta roller attachment for my Kitchen Aid and set it at 3--sometimes 4--so pretty thin. Yes, technically they can be eaten, though I would never want to. Shocked Very Happy But my kids eat them all the time... Rolling Eyes Some people like to keep everything (almost everything) on a cake completely edible. HTH

Thank you so much. I was so busy last night and today I haven't even had a chance to check my post.
