Becklynn--
Thank you so much for "guiding" us thru the Magic Kingdom. Had a blast with you.
And I agree with TC, your Disney cake was the best.
As for Kerry Vincent...she told us that the Food Network people want her to be the "Simon Cowell" of the cake world and she will not do that.
My goodies included: Bronwen's Cake Study "Caddy Wampus Stand"
Mike McCarey's "Cakenology" DVD, cake-jacks, Americolors gold/silver/pearl airbrush colors, Norman's calendar (with autographs), some First Impressions molds, more Americolors (stocking up for the holidays) the big bottles, the onsie cutter with impression mat from Country Kitchens, some BIG tips for cupcakes from Ateco (4 tips for $1), "I (heart) Cake" t-shirt and of course, a Disney t-shirt.
I knooooow!!! I got pushed around a couple of times too but not even at the vendors area but at the vendors showcase! Nothing was for sale yet! And also, at the CalJava booth, one lady was so overly excited with the dusts being $2 each that she literally pushed me out, she didn't care, she wanted me out of her way! RUDE!!!!
Oh well, I also managed to spend a hefty amount of $$$ but oooohhh so much fun! I had a blast! I ordered LOTS of First Impressions about 15 (they ran out and will be shipped to my house, FREE shipping, woohoo!) I also got the new , gold, silver and pearl. And at KopyKake, I got the inks, markers and papers I needed for my printer! I got TONS of PME toys, I love love love PME! Also some SugarVeil, yeeeey, can't wait to give it a try! And some CelCakes goodies, TONS of dusts, CalJava and ECG. Also, with Serenatea, we got the 200+lbs of Fondex, great deal! And some amazing brushes, tons of cutters some Damask ones, amazing! Also Fat Daddios mini pans, Ateco cutters and all colors floral tape. Some of Lindy's cutters and a set of xacto tweezers. Oh also, some lace molds, amazing rollers! Oh and some mini cake circles. Oh and some cookie cutters with impressions mats! Too cute!
OK girls, what did you all get?!?!?! Too curious...
Edna, I also saw you with your pumps walking around... And Turtleshell, so sorry you got sick! I also had to leave early on Sunday, I had an emergency with my 5 year old boy...
Did you stop me? A lot of people did come and say hi!..I just dont know the names in here... Yes I probably was the only one in heels.. ..What can I say I love high heels .. Not even a full day in a convention will stop me from wearing them
Oh well..I hope you did stop me..cause Im going to kick your a$$ if you didnt I loved meeting the people from CC. It was so nice!.
All of them are so awesome!..
Nope, I didn't I guess I didn't want to bother you... I love meeting people from CC as well! Little shy I guess! I was seating next to you on a bench (on the little area where they later had the ACD cocktail) I was there with my sister and she is the one who noticed you, she recognized you from the you tube video
But since I'm in FL as well I guess I'll see you around soon! Will say HI next time, promise!

Thanks! It was so much fun!
Some of the stuff I bought: Americolors, cake stencils, a [blocked] gun, tappits (upper case, lower case, and funky!), some impression mat, flower plunger set, textured rollers, paisley cutters (from Lindy Smith - SOO nice!), a ribbon roller, some luster dusts, some JEM cutters, a cel pad, and my favorites things: Jennifer Dontz's 2 new DVD's!
See you next year!!

I LOVE that cake!! I have a pic of it if you want it. Just PM me!!
Edna, promise, next time I will!!! Now I know what you look like (must agree, VERY glamorous! )
TurtleShell, well, I had my son with me as my Mom wanted to take him to Disney, MGM and Epcot (my Mom, sister and son came with me to ICES), he had a blast up until Sunday around noon. My Mom took him to a friends house and their dog, a black lab, bite him! It was bad!!! Thank God it was on the head, right above his ear, and not his face or neck, I guess I gotta count my blessings, it could have been worst. He had 3 punctures and 2 big open wounds, about 1 1/2" x 1/2". We had to take him to the ER and ended up needing 8 staples on one and 2 staples on the second largest. It was horrible, a bloody mess! Apparently my son was playing on the floor with some pirates of the caribbean figurines, he was singing and the dog just snapped and got him! Crazy dog! Thank God animal control in Orlando has the dog quarantined!
Becklynn, I must agree with everybody else, your cake was the BEST Disney cake, loved it!
Oh, and the DVD Sam Stringer has for sale with all the pictures is $50! Don't know about you all but I'm broke after my shopping spree!

I'm so sorry about your son! Poor little guy - how scary for him!
Same thing happened to my neice when she was little (it was the family dog a chocolate lab) - bit half of her ear off. They stitched it back on but you can still see the scars. They had to put the dog down.
Hope he's feeling better!
Thanks for the cake compliment!
I too am broke after buying my new cake toys, which I am playing with right now!!

I never saw Jennifer Dontz booth! Ahhh!! I sure would have bought her video's! I think she's in LA right? Maybe I'll get to see her one day, I hope!
I love hearing about all the goodies everyone got.

Becklynn saw your Disney cake at the convention and just LOVED it, Edna, I believe I saw a beautiful Calla Lily cake that was yours?? Beautiful. But I didn't see you (no high heels when I was there) Seems like I missed a lot by only going one day I'm so excited about next year that I called my best friend and she's ready to sign up now for 2009!!!

Becklynn, your cake was great - thanks again for everything! You made the park very easy.
I'm playing around with some of my toys now. I'm so glad JEM was there. Hearing some of what others got, I know I missed some places. lol That's OK, there's always next year.
Nefgaby, I'm sorry about your little boy, that is scary! I hope he heals fine.
