I would like to know if I can attach the ?flags? on the side of this cake http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo_331943.html
to buttercream or will they fall off?
I guess what I really want to know is do I HAVE to use fondant to cover the cake?
Thanks
Rebecca

I think they would be fine on buttercream. I've attached fondant swags to buttercream before without any problem. You might want to email the creator of the cake to ask or just try it out beforehand.

Good Luck! It's a beautiful cake!
