Thank you all so much. I am trying to keep my spirits up. It's not the end of the world, but I am so sad about the party AND scared that I may have given my Little Man the chicken pox that I just keep beating myself up.
Yes! The flowers are chocolate - so I guess I have done chocolate transfers without realizing I had done them
Hey Mel, I tried your roller method on my buttercream for my son's birthday cake earlier this month. I still need a lot of practice - but it's the smoothest buttercream I've done so far. It's the Pooh and Piglet cake in my photos (won't post it here since it's not a cupcake!) |

Yes grami, that is the original recipe I had! Funny how we google recipes and all end up with the same one. I just changed it quite a bit. This says it was an award winning recipe by Norita Solt. |

Oh, Penny, here is a for you. I am so sorry you had to cancel, I would be disappointed as well. I hope you all can work something out later. Your cupcakes are beautiful!
GrandmaG, yummy cuppies! Glad to see another convert to the vegan recipes! lol They're just so easy to whip up and you're right, very flavorful. I think I posted the chocolate one too. I've been using that as my base chocolate recipe.
Dynee, thanks for sharing those templates! They most certainly can be used! |

Penny, your son won't even remember it if he gets it now. He's less likely to contiuely be itching (I was 6, and it was itch itch itch). Yes, he'll be cranky, but within a few days, he'll feel better and within a wee, he'll be about 100%.
I hope you'll be able to reschedule for your mom in the future. I know it took forever to get this date, but think positive! You did it once, it can be done again! |

Good grief...
I'll never be able to go through all these posts....ugh
What is the size for the wrapper templates.
I see on her photo they look like 2 different sizes.
Could some on post the measurements from point to point on top and bottom..and how long . Hope this makes sense. |

Sars - you are just too CUTE!
Hey, I've been meaning to ask - where is Baldwin, WI? I used to live in Madison and my parents are near Mukwanago. |

OH!! I GOT BETTERCREAM YESTERDAY!! YAY!! I need to use it on my husband's birthday ice cream cake, then whatever I have left is going to be for cupcakes!!! OH YEAH!!! Mel, how much do you think I'll need to cover a 9X12X2 cake??? |
One half of a carton should do it, depending on how thick you put it on there. And what kind of borders or decor you do. The good thing is that you can just whip up a little more if you're running short and haven't got quite enough! |
