Well, I haven't done too many. But this one is by far the one I most enjoyed doing. It's my most detailed one too! |

I guess mine would be my first and last, fair entry from last year.... I worked SO hard on it,..... made nearly a thousand flowers...... it had working lights and actually rotated like a real carousel......... and a doll cake with the star tip piped skirt beat me....... I won't be doing THAT again this year.... Who ME... BITTER ? LOL!!!

My Barbie Army - as I like to call them. A lot of work, but I got to let my inner-girlie out while decorating them (my inner-girlie is usually overrun by the boys in my house). Made for a co-worker's daughter; who, I am told, wouldn't eat hers (she wanted to keep it) |

Beautiful cakes! I always love looking at these threads--gives me inspiration!
Here is mine. It is my second wedding cake. It was a LOT of work -- The RI snowflakes took me forever to make, until I got it just right. But worth it in the end!

The cakes are marvelous, ladies!
That Barbie Army is fierce! I love all the different dresses. Good job on that, it must've taken awhile! |

I also love the wedding cake I did with the chocolate transfers. It's the first cake I posted here! It's my avatar.
Wow...the cakes you've posted are all so wonderful!

Oh! Its so hard to choose. They're like my children...most of them you so love and others you can't stand....wait, I guess that's not the same (well, sometimes) Okay, here's ONE of my faves. I really like it because besides the topper, it was totally my own design not borrowed from anybody. It was inspired by the baby's bedding ensemble. |

I think this Thanksgiving cake is my favorite. It was a no-pressure kind of cake because it was for my loving family at Thanksgiving time, and it was the first cake that I really went to town with making gum paste objects.
Thanks for looking! |
