I am getting ready to spend some money on one of these....

Does anybody use this and if you do which one do you have. Which one do you suggest is the best one for the money?

If you are refering to the 300xk projector I orderded one from kopykake on Jan. 4,06 as of the 13th I still had not recived it I called and was informed it should be here Tues. the 17th. The shiping was only susposed to take 3 to 5 days. I was highly upset and let them know I would never order anything from them again, like they care.I orderded my printer from Icing Images it was here 2 days later, when I have a need That's where I will order from.
Have a great day,
Theresa

You know I've had the opposite experience. I've ordered from Kopykake dozens of times without issue.

I have also had great experiences with kopykake no regrets and fast shipping. It took afew days but I am on the east coast, and they are on the west coast. Icing images would probably get to me faster also, because I believe they are on the east coast. Alot of the shipping time depends on where you live.

I have the 300 and just think it's the best thing you can buy! You will use it for everything! (for lettering and writing, for desiging, for ..... etc )

I ordered my from art city or something like that as it was a little cheaper. Fast shipping. Same exact projecter from KK.

You won't regret it, it's a great investment. I could live without my airbrush but not the projector!

I have a kopycake projector that is over 20 years old! Don't know what model it is but it was about $150 back then and that was expensive to me. But it has more than paid for itself over the years. It has helped me do thousands upon thousands of cakes. GREAT investment.

Actually, that is one of the few images that I did not use my KopyKake for. Long story short, the image I wanted to use was too big to fit into my projector, so I just cut it into pieces and used a toothpick to outline. Hate that method but it's what I did there. Here is an image I did use my Kopykake for though. (If I can figure how to attach pic.)

I read somewhere (I think it was some chef talk. something website. I surf so often when I am researching prices and information sometimes I don't save the website address) That if you have a large image to cut the image into sections and then project each image. You might try this the next time. Sounds like it would work to me.. And those chefs ought to know what they are talking about.

I have a kopykake projector and I just love it!!! Actually I almost bought an edible image printer before that and decided I would get more out of a projector than a printer. The Strawberry Shortcake cupcake cake in my photos was done with the projector and it was really easy.I just found an image on Google and printed it off and put it in the projector. No cartidges to clean and buy or icing sheets.

I have made up my mind that I will purchase a projector first too. I may not every purchase a printer for edible images. I am just not sure yet. But right now my funds are so limited that I have to be really picky with my money.

Thanks for your comments.
