Great news, we have secured more space for the Hands-On classes for ZB1 and ZB2 so everyone waitlisted just got lucky. Revised invoices heading out.

Help! I understand that this has been in the works for quite a while, however I didn't seriously consider this until I mentioned it to my mom the other day. She told me to book it - "sounds like a lot of fun; I might even want to attend some of the sessions."

Sooooo, after the happy dance and gathering my thoughts, I completed the online reservation request - twice, as we added more participants, and yet I still haven't received a reply, and the deadline for full payment is in 3 days! I'm afraid that the hands-on classes are going to be booked up before I get the nitty-gritty details nailed down.

I've emailed John already and still no reply. Am I being to anxious or should I have heard something by now? I know there are still rooms available via another travel site, but I don't want to get stuck with the outrageous caker fee ($250 vs $20!)

Does anyone know what my next step should be or who I should contact? If the classes fill up then that really blows my whole reason for going. Of course I'd LOVE to go just for fun, but I'd rather splurge on that when my hubby can go, too.

Help!!! I really want this to work!
Lisa

Lambshack, I emailed you 4 hours ago and sent you your reservation invoice.
Perhaps you should check your spam filters or email me an alternate email address.

John - You rock!

Just spoke with my mom and she is so excited too! So much for mother-daughter bonding... she invited one of the hunters to go with us! Is it wrong for an almost 40 year old woman to travel with her parents solo?

My family are very seasoned cruisers and I just cannot fathom enjoying a moonlight stroll on the promenade deck with my PARENTS!!! LOL Seriously, my husband and I enjoy long nights at the casino and having cocktails during the shows... it just won't be the same. Besides, this was supposed to be payback for all of the many many years of hunting adventures our men have snuck off to enjoy. We knew eventually we'd match them dollar for dollar on some type of trip! And then she invites one of them to come along! LOL

Seriously, I love my parents dearly and it might be nice to appreciate then as adults again instead of as 'grandma and grandpa' for a change! I might just get back to being the center of their world with the grandkids out of the picture! Well, at least for just a week!

Thanks again so much for your help! I am 'hanging up' now to do the happy dance! Woo-hoo!

Not at all. We will be taking reservations up to about 2 weeks prior to sailing.
What has changed is that we no longer take deposits to hold a room. You can still make reservations but it will need to be paid in full within 5 days of the invoice date.
Everyone who had secured a booking (some over a year ago) with a deposit has now paid their booking in full.
Space is still available in most categories but the pricing can change without notice. Some Hands-On Classes are almost full so don't wait until it is too late.

Looking for a list of class prices, so I can check budgetability....
Can anyone tell me how many classes there will be and the costs for taking them?

The hands-on classes range in price from $45 to $65 each. You have a choice of 4 sessions, with two hands-on classes to choose from per session. Each day begins with a one & a half hour presentation which is included with your $20 Cake Cruise registration. Even if you didn't do the classes, I think there is still going to be some valuable info to take home with you.

If you log onto CakeCruise.com, go to the PRESENTATIONS tab and the classes are described with the $ for each one.

Hope you can make it!

For those going on the cake cruise, it might be a good idea to get your books autographed if you have it. I bought two books by Colette Peters, brining it with me for her to autograph. You might not get another chance like this one. One of the hard back books is too heavy to pack, so I'm taking the paper cover off, and have her autograph the inside. Just a tip. See you all at sea!
