John - how many are signed up for the cake cruise group? And, do you know if they've opened up another time for the Pinnacle Grill dinner?

If you are wanting to dine in the Pinnacle Grill at a different time than the group, please let me know through our website when you would like. The Pinnacle Grill only has a capacity of 120 people and we already have that session full.

Hi everyone, Jackie,
My husband is totally on board with me going on the cruise to learn! I would be traveling alone, anyone else going by themselves. Who else is coming? I am very new, but love decorating. I am just worried that I am the only single, new decorator cruiser. Are any of the classes included in the fee? Is there still room for the extra classes. I would want to take as many as I can as I am leaving my hubby and kids to "learn"... any one do this last year... advice... thoughts... I appreciate everyones thoughts and opinions!
shawna

I am basically going alone too...my mom and her friend are going with me on the cruise, but are not taking part in any of the caking...If you are going, let me know and I will look for you!

Me three,

My Mom is going with me on the cruise, but she is not taking any of the cake classes.

Hi, I'm going alone. Maybe we can hook up there. I'll write your names down and look for you at the first meet up.

I am so excited! I sound like a broken record because that's all I can say about the cruise. I love cake, I love talking about cake, I love cake makers!

It's going to be great to meet you all and put a face and a real name to your screen names.

I love my hubby and he is so patient when I talk about making cake but I am so glad he is staying home so I don't have to feel guilty about subjecting him to cake talk for over a week.

Is this cruise cake people only or is it a regular cruise that the cake people are just using to do their thing on? I am not able to attend this one but I really want to attend Cake Cruise 2010 in Alaska. My grandmother wants to attend with me but she doesnt want to do the cake stuff with me. Im willing to go alone if its cake only people. I dont want my grandmother feeling out of place or lonely on the days that I am doing the cake stuff.

No, it's a regular cruise with lots of regular people. These ships hold thousands of people. And on a Holland America cruise, there will be lots of people in her age group to have fun with. Lots of retirees on the HA cruises.

Thank you so much for that info. I was pretty sure it would be more than just cake people but I just wanted to double check. I cant wait for more info to come out about the 2010 cruise. I have always wanted to go on an alaskan cruise and a cake alaskan cruise is even better. Im so excited!!
