Take green and add little amounts of yellow until you get the lime color

I needed lime green for a wedding cake just a few weeks ago and I started with the lemon yellow color from Wilton and then added small amounts of Leaf green until I got the shade that I was looking for. It worked out great. |

Try Americolor Electric Green. Works GREAT for lime green! (And I personally love Americolor so much more than Wilton. If you can get them, it's so worth it!)
Good Luck! |

Look, Wilton makes some good products, yes, for beginners in particular, but their food colors are greatly inferior to other brands for brightness of hue, range of colors available, ease of use, and taste. If you want to continue to use Wilton colors, that's fine, but don't sneer at people who use a superior product because of it--that's like somebody who wears Walmart shoes sneering at someone wearing Steve Madden shoes.
Walmart takes a lot to the bank on shoes, too, but that doesn't make them good shoes! |
