Use a tiny amount of copper, but really tiny, it goes a long way! |

you can also use a small amount of paprika paste food colour, start off very small amounts and gradually add more till you get the colour you want. |

I agree with miny. I used copper but I used too much and it didn't look like flesh color at all. Start off with the tiniest amount of copper and add more as needed. |

I needed flesh colored fondant the other night. I searched around and found the following - start with white, add a bit of red to make pink, then add a bit of yellow, then add a tiny amount of green (this was for paint). I tried it, since I didn't have ivory or copper color around, and I was amazed how well it turned out.
It's for a cake I'm doing for my sister for tomorrow night, so I will be finishing it this evening and posting a picture in a couple of days.

I use copper, but I think it makes it too peachy to look real, so I use just a little cooper and a little ivory. After I mix it into the fondant I usually hold it up beside my hand to compare the color and if I'm not satisfied I just keep mixing until I get the tone I'm looking for. In the summer my flesh tone fondant ends to be a little darker than in the winter! |
