so I'm making cakes for a family friend, and they are just looking awful!!! they are in no way what I wanted to do and I"m just ready to give up.
just needed to vent a bit. now i gotta go work on another cake. |

well, the original design turned out to be craptastic, so it was scrapped in favor of another design that just wouldn't cooperate either. It was for a family friend, so it wasn't too much pressure, but it did lead to "forcing" me to try something that I've been wanting to do for a while now.
