hi ,I need help about pricing. I have been asked to make marzipan roses .I have never calculated the price of individual roses on my cakes and any way they are usually gum paste or fondant .This order is for 100 or more marzipan roses .Please help me with the pricing these.Thank for the help.

first you need to know how much the material will cost and how many roses you can get out of it.... then figure how long it takes to make one. figure a worthwhile rate of pay per hour.
making roses will not take me too long .Since she wants small buds, may be 10 min or so .I'll time my self tonight and see how long I take to make one rose.I always enjoy them so may be it seems less to me then it really is. And I'll estimate the amount of marzipan also .I was checking on line and few places sell premade roses 5 for $8.99 . let me see how much marzipan I'll need.
