I saw a few pics in the christening gallery that have the stained glass look. I would love to try that with a baptism cake this weekend. How do I do that??? |

Colored piping gel. I did one, but have seen some really good ones in the galleries. |

Hey Michelle,
I just did one of those cakes last friday. I left my camera at home so I did not post it as yet. I will do that tomorrow. Yes as bulldog said piping gell does the trick.

just trace out your lines with gray piping gel, or I like to use regular icing just to make it stiffer - it won't slide around as much, then make the lines in different directions (outline the piece first). Go back and fill in with different color piping gels in a zig-zag motion and don't put the same colors next to each other. |
