I want to try something different than buttercream for my next practice cake. Does anyone know if the CMD Cream Cheese frosting is a crusting recipe? Anyone that has tried it, let me know!
Thanks,
Diana |

I have made in several times and yes, it is crusting. The only time I've had a problem was when it was really really hot (over 100) and humid and even in the air condititioned house, it wanted to melt. I stuck it in the frige a while and it did fine after that. I do add 1 TBS meringue powder to mine to be sure, though. |

Thanks, tiffy! Chefdot, we're talking about a creamcheese frosting in a book called The Cake Mix Doctor by Anne Byrn. PM me if you want more info or the recipe! |
