I just finished my first hatbox cake, thanks to your wonderful directions. Since you asked for us to please post pictures of the results of your helpful directions, Here you go. Thank you soooo much. My mother AND Mother-in-Law will BOTH be thrilled (I'm actually in the middle of a twin to this one, in blue and yellow)

Sorry, I know this is the wrong place for this question, but since this topic was showing a sticky I thought maybe someone could help. I have asked the same question in the HOW DO I FORUMS & also sent an email to the Moderator, but no one seems to have replied........dont know why. Anyway please can someone let me know if I want to post instruction then HOW CAN I MAKE A STICKY FOR THAT TOPIC........I have recently posted an video instruction on patchwork cutters, but it seems to have got lost with all the new messages being added ................can someone please help. This may be a stupid question, but is the lid covered styrofoam? or Cake?

I am really excited to try making this cake! I'm going to in a few weeks for my grandmother's birthday - I've already tried making some of the GP flowers for the first time and think they turned out quite nice. I just had a question because I'm not sure if it matters or not - for the styrofoam lid can I just cover all of it in fondant or is there some advantage to covering the one part in GP Thanks Smile
