| I start with red and blue gel colors in a very stiff peak RI and get it to a murky color then add black. Then I let down to the desired consistency with drops of water. |

| This may be to basic of an answer, but Cointreau is considered to be a premium brand triple sec liquor and the syrup part is probably simple syrup as JanH references above. HTH |

| You know you could try to premake your own cake mixes. Put all the dry ingredients together just like the box. Zip it up in a baggie and your good to go! |
