I just can't. I have tried it more than once, homemade and satin-ice...I just can't get past the texture. Most people I know will try a couple of bites of cake with it and then peel off the rest.

The layer of bc under fondant should be quite thin. I do no more then a crumb coat. Enough for the fondant to adhere, but not so much that there are bumps underneath.
