Thanks for your input. I thought you could but, I don't do a lot of flowers. The reason I ask is that I just found out that the flowers "melted" on the 3 tier round I did last week with pink roses. ...

I would love to see a picture - before and after. I can't even imagine what a before would look like with the ruffles let alone the after not using any type of support. Confused Shocked

I've had them done at Stop & Shop. The first time it was $7/sheet, this last time $5/sheet. Confused (different sales person) Quality was good both times.

What about a book cake with a title from one of his texts? You could drape a fondant "exam" paper over the top. There are some great 3d text book cakes in the gallery.
