OMGosh, Sadsmile. LOVE the door idea.

You could also do a A-cup bra (just lingerie w/o boobies) as a "before" and a D-cup bra as an "after".

I used Wilton's Rose color for the pink on these cakes and there was no funny taste.

You could use 2) 6in layers and a 1/2 sports ball on top. You'd probably want to carve the bottom to a slight angle if you did that.

You can use anything round: straws, dowels, handles of wooden spoons, etc. Just curl them around and let them dry. Once they are completely dry, you can attach them into the bow by using candy melt ...

No. No center dowel needed unless you are delivering assembled.

It will hold it's own under fondant. It is more dense than a regular cake, but less dense than a pound cake.

Yes, you'd use a rose petal tip and stripe the bag.

I always hold them in place with candy melts. My cakes were covered in bc with the plastic wilton castle kit. They held just fine.

I would use a tip #47 (or similar) and do a few lines next to each other. Then use the Melvira method very carefully to blend.

Sometimes mine have sticky tops too. I don't know exactly why, but it has never been a problem.
