Thank you so much that is what I was thinking. At first I thought I was invited, then I would have done it as my gift, but I'm not so I have to take off my friend hat and put on the buisness one.

I need help with pricing a cake that was baked and base frosted by an aquaintance. She wants a western look on a 1 layer 12" round. If I did everything I would charge $30.

I use a 1/2 coffee and 1/2 kahlua in place of water in a white cake, then the same mixture as a drizzle.

Any recipe useing powdered sugar will crust. I agree with Jewelykaye I stopped useing it soon after my wilton classes were complete.

I agree that it was the taste that pushed it over the edge. Yes the flowers were lovely, the design O.K. but I would want to eat that cake all day long.

The same recipe that would fit in a 9X13 fits in a 16X12 sheet pan 1 inch thick with enough room for frosting. Easy to cut into 100 samples. Leave it in pan and serve out of the pan. Mine from Costco ...
