| if you can't get your hands on any tylose then next time use half gumpaste/half fondant if you want to minimize the squishiness. |

I think those flavors sound fantastic together, and I myself have been known to use 3 fillings in a cake, or at least 2 fillings plus the icing.

The red shouldn't fade much unless it is left out in the light (direct or indirect sunlight). Just keep the fondant/cake in a dark place and it will be fine
