| I need to make fondant dark royal blue..it is for a flag. Does Americolor have a proper royal? Wilton gives me a turquoisey blue ...I do have Satin Ice blue but it is not the right colour either..

I like to use SMBC for roses...it is smooth as silk...the colours are mellow and it gives the most beautiful roses IMHO...

I used Satin Ice on my last cake...I also made a large loop bow as well for the top but I added a bit of Gum-tex to the fondant for the bow so the loops would dry harder/faster...

If it is a mix cake with buttercream icing, it should be fine...they keep for quite a while...
If it is a scratch cake...I dunno....I have done mine 3 days ahead and it was OK but it was a pretty moi ... |

I have used 50/50 gumpaste/fondant....I have also used all gumpaste (work quickly) and I have used fondant with gum-tex in it...all work well.
