What is the location and other details?

You can always take the train into either Grand Central or go into Hoboken and take the PATH into Manhattan, if that is where the convention is.

If you are baking with cake mixes you HAVE to check the ingredients, especially for a "special" order for a health issue.

I bake from scratch but check the list of ANY ingredients I'm adding in.

What are you filling it with?

You can always do a thin layer of preserves on the cake and then put your BC over that. The preserves will absorb a bit into the cake and make it a bit moister.

What are your bows made from?

Fondant alone is not sturdy enough for bows.

Mix fondant and gumpaste 50/50 for the best results.

Also humidity will wreak havoc on gumpaste/fondant items.
