"Decorated cookies, cakes and cupcakes are eligible for entry… as long as they have buttercream flowers ..."

I have the same exact question. Since decorated cookies are made with Royal Icing, I would assume it's ok to use Royal Icing on the cake, cookies, etc. but it Says BC instead of icing.

kleroj,

I challenge you to attempt your royal icing flowers in buttercream. I know some things may be difficult or near impossible in buttercream, but give it a try.

I always like to put my BC flowers in the fridge or freezer to harden them, it makes placing them on the cake easier.

To clarify... the flowers are to be buttecream.

Please feel free to use any other mediums in your piece. Go ahead and put fondant, gumpaste, royal icing, or buttercream on your cakes and cookies.

Just make some BC flowers too.

I've added this to the rules to make it more clear:

Mixed mediums are acceptable, just be sure to include some flowers in buttercream.

I noticed that on the inspiration board you have Tulips and lace, does this need to be butter cream tulips or just spring flowers in general?

on

Please interpret the inspiration board in your own way, however you like. Your entry will be judged based on the project and how much it was inspired by the board.

Like Mardadian1 said, the album is missing from the link. In fact, there are no albums in the Gallery anymore? Clicking on the Gallery header just takes you to a long list of photos; it appears the upgrade removed all the albums. Were prior submissions stored somewhere, or will we need to resubmit once the album is back?

You don't need to resubmit, I personally found and tagged your entries. Please double check your entry has the tag from my above comment.
