Fondant covered cake. All “gold” items are molded from an actual Marine dress uniform, then made of white chocolate and dusted with Super Gold dust. The medals are from the actual soldier’s uniform but are loose interpretations – fondant painted with powdered color and gold dust.

These are absolutely beautiful cakes. However, decorators should be reminded not to use our nation's flag as a tablecloth under cakes for photos.
