We received some breathtaking submissions to our Origami Inspiration Challenge; all of the origami-inspired cookie, cake and cupcake entries were absolutely awesome! Congratulations to CC user MilaJJ— your detailed origami cupcakes are the winner of our origami inspiration challenge!

CC user MilaJ drew inspiration from the color palette and designs of the photos provided in the Pinterest inspiration board, first experimenting with origami paper to make her cupcake toppers, then creating pink, purple and white figures of an elephant, various geometric shapes and the kusudama flowers out of gumpaste.
