Dawn Parrott is a CWPC and award-winning cake designer living in Houston, TX. A largely self-taught cakemaker, she was inspired at a young age by her father’s cake making and has since distinguished herself in the cake community both by her designs and teaching abilities. Frequently asked to compete and demonstrate her craft across the country, Dawn has been involved in numerous cake and pastry competitions, and many awards later, she still enjoys the thrill of competing.
In 2010, Dawn earned the title Master Sugar Artist at the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show by placing fifth in the Wedding Division. Her designs have been featured in cake and baking publications both in the US and internationally, and Dawn has made multiple appearances onFood Network Challenge.

A graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan, Chef Michelle Bommarito has worked for variety of renowned institutions, from the Waldorf Astoria Hotel to Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. With over 21 years of experience, Michelle is a celebrated figure in the cake industry, her notable achievements including being a finalist in the Harry Wils “How Sweet It Is” pastry competition and competing in numerous times on Food Network Challenge. Michelle’s distinct designs have appeared in publications such as Brides Magazine Special Edition, Martha Stewart Living and Oakland Style Magazine, and she is often called upon to judge cake competitions across the country.
