Cake on the cartoon “Rapunzel Tangled.” Modeling without the use of molds. By tatianak

I am in love with this Tangled cake by TatianaK – the figures, painting and balance of this cake are spot on! Make sure you take look at the closeups of the character’s faces to understand how truly remarkable TatianaK’s talent is.

The combination of bright teal and soft peaches on vera76’s cake really caught my eye. This cake is simple and elegant, but also very modern thanks to the trendy color combination.

Ombre Ruffles Cake

Ombre Ruffles Cake By caliber45

This feminine cake reminds me of a frilly, flowing dress and the ruffled, delicate petals of a carnation or peony flower. This sweet creation by caliber45 also incorporates all of my favorite colors, and I love the simple, elegant lavender-colored flower on top.

Summer’s not over yet, but I just love this teacher appreciation cake and cupcakes by BettyIleana. The clean lettering, gumpaste pencil and chalkboard toppers and clever apple cupcakes make for a gold star-worthy display!

Willow tree figures

Willow tree figures By mrsvb78

I almost didn’t catch the face-down Willow Tree figurine on this hilarious birthday cake created by mrsvb78. It had me laughing out loud. Extra points for such creative use of a potato peeler!
