Tedeschi Trucks Band, "Made Up Mind" Cake by H. Sherman, Art2Eat Cakes

Tedeschi Trucks Band, “Made Up Mind” Cake by H. Sherman, Art2Eat Cakes By art2eat-cakes
Tedeschi Trucks Band, “Made Up Mind” Locomotive & Bison Cake by H. Sherman, Art2Eat Cakes – 6/15/13 – I decided to focus on their new album to be released August 20th, “Made Up Mind”…

This cake by art2eat cakes is certainly a work of art on its own, but the fact that it’s so wonderfully painted and sculpted to match the vintage-style photo of Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Made Up Mind album cover makes it all the more impressive.

Wish Upon a Star
Wish Upon a Star By cakesbyraewyn
I made this cake recently to celebrate the arrival of Riley…the newest and youngest member of our wonderful gang. I have wanted to make something like this for a while. I love Forever Friends bears and love hand painting on cakes so tried to do as many fun techniques on this one as I could. Thanks for looking :) x

cakesbyRaewyn did a great job of capturing the whimsy of this huggable bear. I like the way the clouds and colors come together with the hand painting to feel dreamy and very special.

Tea for two wedding /celebration cake I made for a summer Wedding fair

There are so many elements and details that make this cake extraordinary, from the “tea for two” banner running down the cake to the tea spilling out of the darling little tea cups. I’m in total awe of the elements of motion that have been included in this cake— niceicing did an amazing job with the structure and overall design!

Modern Wedding Cake
Modern Wedding Cake By thefrenchcakecompany
The bride-to-be created her own wedding invitation and ze reproduced it on the cake.

My love of scrapbooking immediately drew me to this cake. The 3-dimensional quality created by the cutouts and layering is so unique, and the contrasting patterns and expertly coordinated color scheme are undeniably eye-catching. I can tell TheFrenchCakeCompany truly captured the character of the happy couple.

Vintage Roses & Lace

I’m often drawn to simple, feminine designs, and this vintage lace and rose cake by SugarRuffles certainly fits the bill. I especially love that the cake is presented almost like a miniature dessert table, the tiered platform holding both the cake and perfectly complimentary cupcakes.
