logoSilicone Onlays were invented as an alternative to using stencils which can be messy and difficult to use. Whether decorating a cake or engaging in any arts & crafts project where stencils are used, Silicone Onlays will transfer 3D designs to almost any surface. Because all Silicone Onlays are made with food grade silicone, they perform perfectly with cake decorating products like fondant, gumpaste and modelling chocolate along with any non-food, clay-like material commonly found in the Arts & Crafts fields. Take the free “Silicone Onlay Video Class” which will teach you everything you need to know when using this innovative, patent-pending design transfer device.

simply gorgeous. Watched the tutorial, it looks simple, easy and what great ideas one can come up with. The possibilities seem endless. Bra'vo Chef Palazzolo!

I actually used a combination of homemade marshmallow fondant and modeling chocolate for the covering and the pearls. It helps me get the firmer corners and edges. The details were all gumpaste.

I was admiring your cake for a while wondering how you got such detail! I love the Great Gatsby, and hoping to take a little inspiration from your cake for my own creation. You deserved to win. I've been looking at Gatsby cakes for a while for my sisters birthday coming up, and this is by far the best. Great Job :)

Beautiful cake!!! What did you use for the fringe so it wouldn't dry out and break? That design is insane detail! I love it! What gave you the inspiration for the pattern on the front?
