Friday Faves: Seeing Green!

Pink sugar roses and cute gumpaste kittens; vintage tea parties and warm scents from the kitchen; three-layer cakes covered in buttercream: these are a few of our favorite things!

As editors of Cake Central magazine, we come across so many awesome, inspiring things while working. From users to cake creations to wedding inspiration to cool new products, we want to share a few of our favorite finds with you every week.

Here are this week’s Friday faves:

Using a basic rose cutter, and some inspiration from other CC members,  Benja created a clean green & white cake that is fit for an elegant St. Patrick’s Day party, or spring wedding.

pambakescakes created a great color combination with greens and pink, and the brush embroidery roses are just lovely.

These bright St. Patrick’s Day cupcakes from Cuteologycakes are very green and very fun! I love how they incorporate St. Patty’s Day phrases and the colors of the rainbow.

This cake by Mirabellecake is the perfect example of simple and sophisticated. The pale green color is happy and bright, and the single white ranunculus makes a great accent to the quatrefoil pattern.

With St. Patricks Day coming up, I’ve had green on my mind, and  Tasiorrr87’s green tyrannosaurus rex cake immediately caught my attention while I was scrolling through new cakes. I think it’s just adorable!

Mina77’s tea cup with flowers is beautifully romantic. Her white and yellow flowers combined with the antique wood finish on the box perfectly accomplish the shabby-chic look she was going for.
