Floral cupcakes are especially pretty when arranged in bouquets. Perfect for Mother’s Day.
Mini cupcake begonia bouquet for my mom for Mother’s Day. She loved it! Instructions from the Culinary Institute of America youtube tutorial.
By ShanonR I made these for a Mother’s Day tea that my sister did for her church. Thanks to KHalstead for the inspiration. These were a lot of fun…but 4 days later and my hand is still sore from all the roses! HA!

By twinsline7 My grandmother put together a bee themed luncheon for her church group. She called and asked me for ideas with a bee theme dessert!she told me she had found some flower pots and had an idea of painting them bee striped…what could I do with that??…well…. cupcake bouquets of course!!!there were 8 of these bouquets as table centerpieces so guests could “pick flowers”
By jawalleen 48 mini cupcakes (cinnamon bun and almond). Customer wanted a rustic bayou themed bouquet for her baby shower. Fondant frog and dragon fly. First time using the gelatin (fly wings). Cat tails and leaves are silk. I wasnt sure how this was going to turn out, but love it now! TFL
By ctorno Did these for my cousins bridal shower. I used the 2D Wilton tip to do the rose swirl…what a lifesaver. I started off piping roses, but found the icing was much thicker and seemed the ones sideways might fall off when on the bouquet. Large styrofoam ball is 8″ and the smaller 5″. Lily’s are rubber.
Hydrangea Cake By alanahodgson Someone contacted me about a picture in my brochure of a cupcake bouquet saying she really loved the cake that looked like a flower pot. It told her it WAS a flower pot but that type of cake was doable. She asked for hydrangea and this is what she got. I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. Its about 3x as much cake as she asked for, though. Oh well. Live and learn.
Hydrangea Cake By PattyT If you can all stand another cupcake bouquet, here’s my first. For my sweet, wonderful, mother-in-law on Mother’s Day. Thanks to everyone on CC who posted inspiring pictures and tips. I used the stapled cup method, but I searched and can’t find who first posted the instructions to thank by name. The cups and plate are sitting on a terra cotta pot with bow – elastic threaded from top cup through to bottom of pot to secure. SMBC and Whimsical BakeHouse Buttercream – three colors in the bag. Chocolate transfer butterflies. Short lengths of ribbons run under each cupcake used as greenery *AND* to help lift out each cuppy.

Another cupcake Bouquet By licerface My first attempt at a cupcake bouquet. I learned that you need to use a dense cake to help the cupcakes stay on.
Cupcake Bouquets By decarey I was practicing hydrangeas today.
Cupcake Bouquet By tm-treats The cupcakes are made with Coconut sponge. I used a real pot for this instead of making a cake. The leaves are also fake. The only real / edible thing here are the cupcakes and the flowers which are made of fondant.
Cupcake bouquet By gracehope My version of the cupcake bouquet…Lemon cupcakes with lemon BC; marshmallow petals with yellow M&M centers. Used a 6″ styrofoam ball and shredded green paper.
