Originally submitted to Pumpkin Spice Ring Ingredients 1 (18.25 ounce) package angel food cake mix 1 cup pumpkin puree 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice Instructions 1 Combine pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice, and mix well. Set aside.2 Mix cake as directed on package. Fold in pumpkin mixture. I found a post that someone used apple cider in their spice cake mix instead of water, not sure who it was. I also found a cream cheese icing on this site that I edited some.
