Posted by indydebi I was given this recipe over 25 years ago by a friend and it's the only icing recipe I've ever used. (I actually didn't know there were other "wedding cake icing" recipes out there!). All measurements are approximate since I'm a "until it looks right cook". Too thin? Add more sugar. Too thick? NFSC - No Fail Sugar Cookies

Make sure you let your oven preheat for at least 1/2 hour before baking these or any other cookies. EASY GUMPASTE RECIPE Ingredients 1 Lb Powdered Sugar Fine -10X plastic bag 1 Packet Knox Gelatin 2 TBS of Lemon juice 3 TBS of Water 1 Tsp of Glucose Instructions Add gelatin, water & juice over double boiler; dissolve about 5 to 7 minutes. This is not for poured ganache' , although you could probably use it that way before it sets, this is for white ganache' to use as a frosting either under fondant or alone.
