Crumble baked red velvet cake. Mix with one can of sweetened condensed milk until completely mixed. Form balls and freeze. Dip in melted white chocolate, great for Valentine’s Day!
I love red velvet cake balls. I mix my cooked cake (still warm) with one batch of homemade cream cheese icing instead of the condensed milk. It is amazing as well!
I usually find advice that says to add a tablespoon or two of unflavored vegetable shortening to the melting chocolate to thin it out a bit for dipping. However, I have tried this several times, and it doesn't seem to thin the chocolate nearly as much as I would like. I have given up and am now going to use 'candy melts' instead. /defeated
I made these for a baby shower and there were NONE left. I had some many compliments on them!
