A quick, easy, delicious pink champagne cake, goes great with French Vanilla mousse and fresh raspberries! A great wedding cake flavor.

Pink Champagne Doctored Cake Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker White cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 c. Pink champagne
  • 4 drops Lorann Champagne Flavoring oil
  • Pink food color

Instructions

  1. 1. Place butter into mixer and beat until smooth with paddle attachment.
  2. 2. Add remaining ingredients, and food color to desired shade of pink. I like to do a very delicate pink, just a hint.
  3. 3. Mix according to directions on box, scraping bowl at least twice.
  4. 4. Bake according to directions, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

Even though this didn't have any reviews, I made it and it was PERFECT. I can'y believe how fluffy and moist it was. I have a very picky bride and I cracked up that she loved it so much when I knew I was using a mix. I used Cooks white zin blush champagne. It was cheap and actually not that bad. Thank you for posting this!

To answer the question for cakebaker1957 I personally make the mousse using French vanilla pudding and 1 cup whipping cream, plus 1/4 cup of milk. Tastes great.
