This was on a handwritten note, stuffed into a book at my sisters house. She has all of my Moms old recipes. What a great find!!

Joans Cake Icing

Ingredients

20 oz Butter
32 oz Powdered Sugar
4 Tsp Vanilla (or other flavor)
8 Tsp Hot Water

Instructions

Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add vanilla and water. Mix until light and fluffy. You may add color if desired, add in when you add water. Mix well.
